Electro Magnetic Choke ( Ballast )
consumer more than 20 watts noise and blackens walls and
ceilings. Even the low loss electromagnetic chock consumer
about 10 watts of power and weighs more than 900 gms. On
the other hand electronic ballast weighs only
200 gms and consumes only
2-3 watts. Therefore increase
the lumen efficiency of the lamp by 10% because they
operate at high frequency of 20 kHz and above. Electronic
ballasts are therefore preferred over the magnetic
ballasts as an "ENERGY SAVING"
option. They save over 40 - 50 % energy.
